A few weeks ago, I read Jenny Han’s book To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and I was completely smitten, and of course I had to get my hands on the next book, P.S. I Still Love You.

to all the boys I've loved beforeps i still love you

I only finished the second book a few days ago, and to be quite honest, I liked the first book a whole lot better.

The second book was a little slow in the beginning, but it picked up really nicely in the later part of the book. I really like Peter but I really don’t like that he’s hanging out so much with Gen and making excuses for her. I know that Gen’s circumstances is explained in the end, but I still don’t think it’s a good enough reason for Peter to keep choosing Gen over Lara Jean. Keeping the confidence, yes, definitely, but he’s almost always with Gen all the time he’s not with Lara Jean. I don’t think that was necessary.

I do like the budding romance between John Ambrose and Lara Jean, and I thought it was really sweet. I would’ve loved to see more of that. I’m hoping for a third book in the series, but I don’t see a listing for it on Goodreads.

Just for fun, I decided to do a tarot reading for it, using the Yes/No Method. I asked if there would be a third book in the Jenny Han series To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

is there a third book

And it looks like the answer is a pretty confident no. =( (Read this post to understand this reading method.)

Who knows though? Perhaps Jenny Han will change her mind and decide there might be a third book after all. The Star as the card that turned up means there’s still hope!
